Zakeya Zada is a Bahraini artist, curator, and printmaker whose work functions as an emotional translation—guided by intuition rather than rules. Her practice moves fluidly between figurative and abstract approaches, often centering the female figure as a symbol of strength, resilience, and cultural continuity. Through vibrant color, layered techniques, and mixed media, she blends tradition with contemporary expression. Zada has exhibited locally and internationally, including at the Grand Egyptian Museum, Le Carrousel du Louvre, and the Bahrain National Museum.
Zada holds a master’s degree in Art Gallery and Museum Studies from University of Leicester. She studied Art at University of the Arts London (ual).
